6-10 years of experience.  Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.

Skills/Required Years of Experience:

10 yrs as SME providing technical support in enterprise distributed environment (Required 10 years)
Windows 2008 / 2012 Servers Administration (Required 10 years)
Extensive troubleshooting skills to resolve OS and server related issues (Required 10 years)
Experience with Group Policy, Registry Keys, Active Directory and Domains (Required 7 years)
Significant scripting skills using PowerShell to automate tasks and in aid in troubleshooting (Required 7 years)
Excellent communication skills with technical documentation experience (Required 10 years)
Ability to articulate ideas and solutions through conceptual designs (Required 10 years)
Experience with SCCM 2012 or higher setup and implementation, including design and configuration (Highly desired)
Strong understanding of desktop Security Hardening practices (Highly desired)
Microsoft SCCM certification 2012 (Required)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Certification 2012 (Required)
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware (Required 3 years)
SCCM patch deployment experience in large enterprise (Required 7 years)
Experience with Cloud technologies (Required 3 years)

Complete Description:

Responsibilities:
1.    Provide assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.
2.    Plans, organizes, and conducts research in a variety of areas, such as new or existing products, science, social science, law or business in support of an IT initiative.
3.    Searches sources such as reference works, literature, documents, newspapers, statistical records, and other sources of information. May use Internet, Intranet, magazines, periodicals, journals, and other media to perform research.
4.    Create, test and deploy software installation packages utilizing SCCM 2012 and other methodologies, including MDT, WADK, and WDS for Windows 7/10 and MAC OSX images and other 3rd party applications
5.    Create packages using tools such as Zero or Lite Touch technologies, Active Directory, BitLocker and User State Migration Tools
6.    Implement Group Policy and Window Registry objects to build and manage desktop and server images
7.    Manage and coordinate deployments of patches, critical updates and service packs using best practices and industry standards
8.    Provide Tier 3 support through Remedy ticketing to resolve issues related to desktop, network and server technologies
9.    Assist to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes for accomplishing objectives and routinely perform QA reviews to identify and implement areas of improvement and new practices
10.    Assist with day to day administration of the SCCM infrastructure and environment, including troubleshoot to resolve server and configuration issues.
11.    Assist to perform routine QA of SCCM infrastructure to apply updates as required, including anti-virus updates, operating system and software updates
12.    Create and maintain technical documentation for administration tasks, installation and configuration procedures and processes to deploy images, patch updates, security hardening, operating and system updates
13.    Communicate with the CAB per protocol, and participate in the change management process as necessary.
14.    Research complex technical problems and identify, implement and communicate technical fixes.
15.    Create scripts using PowerShell and other tools to develop custom solutions and automate fixes for issues
16.    Coordinate with the Security team to engineer solutions that meet security policies and recommendations
17.    Coordinate with multiple teams and departments help support and enhance end user experience
18.    Prioritize workload based on established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with a focus on client satisfaction and follow through
19.    Assist to develop test plans and lead test effort to ensure quality implementations.
20.    Create compliance reports to provide status of distributions and statistical data from analyses
21.    Create SQL queries and routine compliance reports to provide status of quality of processes and procedures, patch updates, software distributions, and statistical data from analyses

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements    :
Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
