A Senior SharePoint online Administrator with extensive and advanced knowledge of SharePoint online, O365 tenant configuration, GCC, OneDrive for business, O365 groups.
Skills/Required Years of Experience:
Experience with Office 365 SharePoint Online administration and management, including governance, security, monitoring, and reporting (Required 6 years)
16+ yrs leading projects, ensuring they are in compliance with established standards/procedures (Required 16 years)
Maintaining and supporting related SharePoint-dependent features and apps including but not limited to OneDrive, Outlook Groups, Teams, OneNote (Required 10 years)
Managing and supporting site creation, web parts, security and workflows (Required 10 years)
Extensive experience with information architecture to review current state and propose future state for optimal usability. (Required 5 years)
Extensive experience performing as Global Administrator for large, government O365 tenant (Required 5 years)
Experience with SharePoint Online administration, developing SharePoint OOTB solutions and providing support in a large government organization (Required 7 years)
Possess in-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online technologies and infrastructure services with a good understanding of Exchange Online and Skype Online (Required 5 years)
PowerShell scripting experience (Required 7 years)
Experience with InfoPath and SharePoint Designer (Required 10 years)
Experience with Metalogix, DocAve and ShareGate migrations (Required 4 years)
Creation and ongoing maintenance of SharePoint policy and procedure documentation (Required 4 years)
16+ yrs planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities (Required 16 years)
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience (Desired)
This position is located in the District of Columbia, Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) at 200 I Street SE, Washington, DC, 20003. A Senior SharePoint online Administrator with extensive and advanced knowledge of SharePoint online, O365 tenant configuration, GCC, OneDrive for business, O365 groups and.
Experience configuring sites and sub-sites, creating and modifying SharePoint site collections with multiple sites, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, lists, web part pages, and custom workflows.
Utilize SharePoint and Microsoft tools that are integrated with SharePoint Online development platform, such as InfoPath, Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer to develop custom SharePoint applications.
Ability to analyze office requirements/operations, review existing SharePoint system, define solutions, and translate that into designs and programming work on SharePoint.
Identify project requirements by interviewing users and analyzing operations
As the SharePoint Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical support for the SharePoint environment. You will be responsible for understanding business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. You will resolve customer complaints and respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancement.
Provide SharePoint online administration, governance, site creation and technical support for O365 Enterprise SharePoint online environment.
Manage and maintain site Content and Structure settings, Site Hierarchy, and site collection navigation
Migrate Google drive to OneDrive for business in enterprise environment
Migrations of SharePoint sites and collections to the O365 SharePoint Online Environment.
Design, configure, manage, and maintain comprehensive site collection, site, and list level usage reports and usability analysis
Identify and report governance violations for Enterprise SharePoint using DLP and IRM configurations for O365 SharePoint and on premise environments
Update Documentation, Check the validity and accuracy of any documentation that is used by the end users, site owners and Administrators
Allocate additional Storage Quota to the site collections as they reach the maximum storage limit set by default
Configure and administer SharePoint and automate tasks
Work on tickets and service requests from other agencies for Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Online
Design, configure, and maintain O365 groups and SharePoint online sites for DC Government
Support Microsoft One Drive for Business sync issues and work with the users to recover data lost
Test and implement new features in a SharePoint online environment.
Manage and delete Site Collections and sub sites in Office 365 SharePoint Online system as per service requests
Create eDiscovery Centers in Office 365 SharePoint Online
Troubleshoot issues and provide customer support for end users utilizing O365 SharePoint Online and O365
Schedule, plan, and performing system upgrades, including testing, rollback procedures and risk analysis for SharePoint online and O365 email and all related services.
1. Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
2. Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities.
3. Develops technical applications to support users.
4. Develops, implements, maintains and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
5. Provides training for system products and procedures.
6. Performs application upgrades.
7. Performs, monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real- time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
8. Troubleshoots problems.
9. Ensures project life-cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
