Seeking a Senior Directory Services Consultant with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Active Directory Federation & Active Directory Lightweight Directory , LDAP, Azure Active Directory, Identity, Access Management & PowerShell scripting

Skills/Required Years of Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience (Required 4 years)
Technical experience with MS Active Directory (Required 6 years)
SME experience with Active Directory (including Federated Services, and Enterprise Group Policy Management) &Microsoft Identity Management platform (Required 6 years)
Expert knowledge of AD-DS, AD-FS, AD-LDS, AD-DNS (Required 6 years)
Expert knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC) (Required 6 years)
Expert knowledge of PowerShell Scripting (Required 6 years)
Hands on experience with integrating applications with AD-FS and AD-LDS, as well as SSO deployments (Required 6 years)
Hands on experience with SAML integration (Required 6 years)
Technical experience managing Identity Management platforms providing Identity Management within an enterprise environment (Required 6 years)
Hands-on deploying and supporting Multi factor authentication in the enterprise (Required 5 years)
Hands-on experience deploying, configuring and supporting unified management solutions such as CayoSoft Administrator or Quest ActiveRoles (Required 5 years)
Hands-on experience deploying, configuring and supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms (Required 5 years)
Ability to manage own delivery with challenging targets and solve problems with limited guidance (Required 8 years)

Complete Description:

Senior Directory Services Consultant position requires in-depth knowledge of Microsoft-based infrastructure design and development, directory services best-practices and advanced knowledge of systems engineering, operations and management. The consultant should have architect level experience planning, documenting, installing, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting high-availability Active Directory (AD-DS), Active Directory Federation Services (AD-FS), Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD-LDS), LDAP, Azure Active Directory, Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, Enterprise and/or cloud solutions, as well as 3rd party application integration. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of O365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows server 2008, 2012, 2016 and LDAP integration Active Directory for Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016.  Knowledge of Directory Services Management overlay platforms, as well as PowerShell scripting is a must.

Detailed Responsibilities Include:
•    Enterprise Active Directory Engineering and Operations
•    Troubleshooting any Active Directory Replication and Federation Issues
•    Enterprise Active Directory Domain Name System (DNS) Engineering and Operations
•    Enterprise Active  Directory Federation Services (AD-FS) Engineering and Operations
•    Enterprise Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD-LDS) Engineering and Operations
•    Integrating COTS, Cloud, and in-house developed applications with AD-FS and AD-LDS
•    Develop and maintain documentation for integrating applications with OCTO’s various directory services  / authorization and authentication platforms
•    Develop OCTO’s directory services security best practices and keep up to date based on newly released STIGs and NIST security guidelines
•    Support the AD consolidation project, which consists of migrating multiple child domains and disparate AD forests into the Enterprise Active Directory Forest
•    Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third party migration products for the duration of the project
•    Deploy, configure and support unified management solutions such as CayoSoft Administrator and Quest ActiveRoles
•    Develop and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
•    Responsible for monitoring and resolving Service Desk escalated incidents and problem tickets related to Active Directory issues.
•    Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Microsoft infrastructure with focus on Enterprise Directory Services
•    Support all aspects of the Enterprise Directory Services ensuring security, federation and identity compliance
•    Monitor performance levels of the various enterprise Directory Services products, and assist in proper capacity planning and management
•    Develop and enhance PowerShell scripts as needed
