The BA shall define the exchange specifications and requirements and work with the system developers to ensure successful development. This position shall serve as the Subject Matter Expert on the development and implementation of the SIDES data exchange.
Skills/Required Years of Experience:
Experience aligning IT strategy and planning with the company’s business goals. (Required 11 Years)
Business Process Engineering and Documentation (Required 8 Years)
Experience analyzing business and technical processes (Required 8 Years)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills (Required 11 Years)
Experience researching and evaluating technology solutions and implementation strategies (Required 8 Years)
Experience solving business and technical problems independently, creating innovative solutions (Required 8 Years)
Knowledge of database management concepts, principles, and methods including database logical and normalization, and storage capacity (Required 11 Years)
Knowledge of information technology and the functional design of information systems. (Required 11 Years)
Experience with Data Exchanges and/or message broker (Required 3 Years)
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience (Required 15 Years)
The BA shall define the exchange specifications and requirements and work with the system developers to ensure successful development. This position shall serve as the Subject Matter Expert on the development and implementation of the SIDES data exchanges and be responsible for monitor trends across the UI community of practice and NASWA product updates.
The BA shall be involved in the development of project plans and often provide project management skills when these skills are not available in other project participants. In addition, the BA shall research, evaluate and recommend architectural framework, technology solutions, and implementation strategies.
This position will negotiate agreements to resolve differing and competing needs and priorities based on needs, requirements and resources while serving as a liaison between OIT and UI program/NASWA staff. The BA shall develop presentations to ensure effective communication, oversee and manage expectations.
Implementation (transition) requirements are capabilities or behaviors required to enable the transition from the current state of the enterprise to the desired future state. Work onsite and remote reporting to the Executive Stakeholder and interfacing with the business units, OIT and NASWA.
- Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications.
- Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
