Short Description:

Write quality statement of work, technical specifications, use cases, requirements and various other supporting content pertaining to development of complex and large RFPs that will undergo critical review by the legal team.

Skills/Required Years of Experience:

16+ yrs. writing a variety of technical instruction manuals and how-to guides (Required 16 Years)
16+ yrs. writing design specs for complex systems (Required 16 Years)
16+ yrs. expertise and support of MS Office and Visio (Required 16 Years)
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience (Required)

Complete Description:

A qualified candidate in this position will write Request for Proposal documents that provides detail requirements of a project that will be used to solicit bid proposals from contractors to provide services to the District Government. Responsible for writing the statement of work, clear and concise business and technical requirements describing tasks to be performed and use cases. Research, review, edit and ensure the accuracy of the RFP composition and formatting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
  2. Coordinates the display of graphics and the production of the document.
  3. Ensures content is of high quality and conforms to standards.
