This is a contract staff augmentation position for the Washington DC Government. Many of our consultants are renewed year after year, giving the independent IT Professional the ability to work in downtown Washington, DC on a long term basis.
The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), seeks one contractor who will provide Enterprise Architect services to investigate and document architected decisions in order to direct proper alignment with District standards to assist with the Statewide Longitudinal Education Data System (SLED), Early Childhood Education (ECE) projects as well as other inflight projects.
Contractor aligns OSSE strategic business strategy and defines IT systems architecture to support that strategy, EA must understand the agencies business and be able to dive deeply into technology issues. EA will align business goals and the IT infrastructure that supports the agency and helps achieve those goals. Will also recommend and consult concerning emerging technologies for education to include mobile computing, open content and visual Data Analysis.

• Technology Strategy & Roadmap (10 Years)
• Experience with Project Planning and Management (10 Years)
• Experience with Architecting Infrastructure Solutions (8 Years)
• Experience designing and developing ETL strategies (Highly desired)
• Experience data integration leveraging data messaging platforms (Highly desired)
• Experience with emerging mobile application technologies (2 Years)
• Familiar with SDLC methodologies (Highly desired)
• Experience with developing IT policies and procedures (Highly desired)
• Experience with emerging visual data analysis and presentations (2 Years)
• Experience with emerging IPv6 tunneling technologies (2 Years)
