Complete Description:
The Senior Database Administrator Lead will be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Oracle database administration and will provide supervision and guidance of other DBAs while assisting the Data Architect. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in the installation, upgrade, and management of GRID control for database monitoring and database management. The candidate will participate in the proposing, designing, and implementing of solutions, which adhere to best practices related to data warehouse architecture, standards, methodologies, and applicable tools. The Senior DBA Lead will provide services and supervision on all facets of production monitoring and support as well as development efforts in a dynamic data warehousing program, which provides business intelligence services in the creation of reporting environments and customized software applications. The candidate will provide database management through the maintenance of data dictionaries, data models, and performance tuning; and will coordinate and supervise database changes and tests.

Experience as an Oracle DBA (8 Years)
Experience working with Oracle RAC clustering and ASM (8 Years)
Experience in cross-platform migration between Windows and Linux (Highly desired 3 Years)
Experience upgrading databases from 10g to 11g (2 Years)
Experience working in a data warehousing environment (5 Years)
Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica (Highly desired 5 Years)
Experience with BI tools such as Business Objects and Microstrategy (Highly desired 5 Years)
Experience in designing dimensional models (Highly desired 5 Years)
Experience with Oracle Streams, developing VB scripts (5 Years)
Experience developing materialized views and star schemas (3 Years)
Experience with designing disaster recovery solutions & dataguard failover (Required 5 Years)
Experience working with GeoSpatial data (Highly desired 2 Years)
Experience working with teams in an application development environment (Highly desired 4 Years)
Exp in install, upgrade, & manage of GRID control for database management (Highly desired 3 Years)
