282924 – PeopleSoft Hyperion Integration Specialist

The Government of the District of Columbia, Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is seeking a contractor to provide technical support services for the District’s support and expansion of the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management application as it relates to interfacing HCM with the District’s Budget Management and Planning System. The PeopleSoft Resource shall be familiar with the District’s HR, Benefits, Payroll, Commitment Accounting policies, procedures and practices and the PeopleSoft implementation at the District will be assigned to work with the team to provide assistance and oversight. It is desirable that the contractor have the understanding of the Oracle Hyperion PSPB or other Budget Preparation and Analysis Applications for integrating it with PeopleSoft HCM.

Requirements (Mandatory)
•Experience with the development and implementation of tools and processes and the integration platform for the inbound and outbound interfaces between the PeopleSoft v9 and the Budget Management and Planning System (BMAPS, A Oracle Hyperion Public Sector Planning and Budgeting Application)
•Experience with the design and development of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Service based integrations for the chart of accounts, valid combinations, compensation and classification related data, position related data, and employee level data
•Experience with interface testing (system and regression)
•Experience in assisting and working with the end users during the user acceptance testing of the interface
•Knowledge and experience to deploy the new integration platform into production and coordinate cut-over activities
•Experience with transfer of knowledge to the Client personnel for the ongoing operations and maintenance of the integration platforms
•Experience with the development and maintenance of all required documentation including but not limited to integration architecture design and system details, logical and physical application diagrams for each and every inbound and outbound interface (real time and batch)
•Experience working as a PeopleSoft subject matter expert (SME) to the BMAPS Team and will facilitate smooth interaction between the two systems
•Experience with the fit-gap analysis and review in relation to the bi-directional integration between the BMAPS and PeopleSoft HCM; communicating them to OCTO’s PeopleSoft Team; and seek effective resolutions
•Experience with position management and control.

Requirements (Desirable)
•Knowledge of the District’s PeopleSoft HCM: HR, Compensation and Classification, Position Management, PAR Processing, Payroll, Commitment Accounting
•Knowledge and experience working with Oracle 11g
