Complete Description:
HCM ApSo team is seeking PeopleSoft Functional SME for the DCRB Data Modernization Program. PeopleSoft HCM is the current District wide HCM platform and provides a webenabled, integrated platform for the District’s HR/Payroll needs. The objective of this project is to reclaim service and fiscal history for current or separated members of the retirement system comprised of Firefighters, Police Officers, and Teachers by using current and yet to be developed tools in the District’s PeopleSoft system. Historical data available from legacy systems, paper personnel files, and scanned documents will be loaded into the current PeopleSoft environment where it will then be analyzed and corrected via an OCTO approved portal. For DCRB’s continued use, OCTO will provide DCRB a read only copy of the PeopleSoft production environment that will be refreshed on a nightly basis. This will allow DCRB to begin querying and analyzing data to improve data quality. DCRB will be the project manager partnering with OCTO, and will start working on a high-level project plan, stakeholder expectations, resource and cost estimation, and funding details. The following are a number of requirements and tasks that the contractor must perform as the PeopleSoft Data Analyst as a part of the scope of work: General Purpose Provide expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate, and analyze HR Benefits, Payroll, and Retirement related data and report results. Responsibilities • Analyze reports of missing data, data duplicates, or other errors to help conduct Root Cause Analysis on HR and Payroll data; • Analyze available scanned and paper files from HR and Payroll departments to determine whether they can be used as sources of missing data; • Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data; • Analyze and solve issues with current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of HR and Payroll historical data; • Analyze errors in existing data to provide ongoing appropriate data cleansing project communications and regularly produced status reports; • Monitor for timely and accurate completion of select HR and Payroll data elements; • Help identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets • Acquire and abstract necessary data from existing internal or external data sources • Help develop and implement data collection systems (such as data portals) and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality • Perform data entry, either manually or using scanning technology, when needed or required • In collaboration with others, help interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings • Help develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results • Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports • Generate routine and ad hoc reports
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s in Information Management, Engineering or related field Required)
Functional/Data analyst experience(Required 8 Years)
Technical expertise regarding data models and database design (Required 3 Years)
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (Required 8 Years)
Experience in analyzing large data sets (Required 3 Years)
