Short Description:
Optical Architect Consultant Level 5 10-13 Years Design and Engineering of optical networks for DWDM and Ethernet services.
Complete Description:
Analyze current deployment for Layer 1 and 2 infrastructure, design and oversight for deployment of remaining 8 DWDM nodes, design and oversight for turn up of remaining Layer 2 core nodes; define network operations SOP, MOP, NMS, inventory management and documentation.
Requested Skill/Experience Required
Experience with the design of Carrier Ethernet network (Required 4 Years)
Experience with the design of Optical networks (Required 10 Years)t
Experience with the installation, configuration and provisioning of WDM and Ethernet switches (Required 10 Years)
Tier 3 Troubleshooting on Layer 1 and 2 services (Required 10 Years)
Understanding of Layer 1 and 2 services (Required 10 Years)
Experience in the government and education sectors (Desired 5 Years)
Participating in customer facing design discussions (Desired 5 Years)
Performing cost benefit analysis (Desired 8 Years)
