Complete Description
The purpose of the Digital Inclusion Program is to leverage the power of technology to connect communities with opportunities. This means ensuring all District residents have meaningful access to computers and high-speed broadband.
Candidate will organize program information, investigate/validate alternative Digital Divide/Inclusion program strategies and implementation approaches. Candidate will 1) create business cases for digital inclusion, including financial models, cost-benefit analyses, market studies, risk assessments, budget and financial analysis, 2) perform
business / technical analysis on new application development requests, 3) partner with key business and technical owners to understand current environment and organizational goals, and 4) identify and document requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, workflow business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. Candidate will actively participate with the senior management team in developing sound, practical, fiscally responsible action plans, and will need to coordinate among various government entities and external program stakeholders (e.g., nonprofit orgs, educational entities, businesses, and community anchor institutions).
Candidate will proactively manage and maintain the agenda of the Senior Manager by scheduling meetings and conference calls; arranging appointments with internal staff and external clients/vendors to optimize the use of time; capturing meeting minutes, and responding to emails/written correspondence. Candidate may have to take on
special assignments as required by Senior Manager.

Experience booking appointments, meetings, and travel plans for Senior Executives, staff (Required 2 Years)
Experience communicating with clients and other external parties when required. (Required 2 Years)
Experience developing business cases, developing cost-benefit analyses, and performing financial analyses. (Required 4 Years)
Experience planning and preparing documents for meetings. (Required 4 Years)
Experience preparing reports and other written materials (Required 4 Years)
Experience taking minutes of meetings and tracking action items (Required 2 Years)
Experience with MS Office, including 2010 (Required 4 Years)
Experience with MS Project (Required 4 Years)
Experience with Outlook (Required 4 Years)
Experience with SharePoint, including 2010 (Required 4 Years)
Exp w/org, prep, coordinate various mtgs, events, seminars, and conferences (Required 4 Years)
Experience performing business/technical analyses on new application development requests (Highly desired 4 Years)
Experience preparing correspondence, incl photocopying, fax, mailing, delivery, filing (Highly desired 2 Years)
Experience providing administrative support to the Senior Management and the Client (Highly desired 3 Years)
Experience with other general administrative duties as required (Highly desired 2 Years)
Previous experience in Telecom field preferred (Highly desired 4 Years)
Knowledge of Visio (Desired 4 Years)
