Complete Description:
DHCF’s Health Care Operations Administration (HCOA) has a need for a senior technical project manager. The senior technical project manager will serve as the lead project manager as DHCF works to rebuild its internal third party liability (TPL) team. The agency’s third party liability team is responsible for recouping funds from other insurance firms providing coverage for existing Medicaid recipients. The senior technical project manager will work with DHCF to analyze the agency’s existing, outdated TPL policies and procedures and refine those policies and procedures to ensure they are consistent with industry best practices. The senior project manager will also review existing TPL reports from the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and ensure they are capturing the appropriate information to effective manage the agency’s TPL recovery efforts. Additionally, the senior project manager will develop staff training on the new processes and procedures as well as MMIS reports as the agency brings in new TPL resources. Lastly, the senior project manager will assist the District is developing its statement of work for its TPL recovery contract.
Required Skills/Experience:
Project management experience (Required 10 Years)
State Medicaid TPL policy and procedure experience (Required 8 Years)
Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) and TPL reporting experience (Required 5 Years)
Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) and TPL reporting experience (Required 2 Years)
Staff training experience (Required 3 Years)
Experience writing requests for proposals (Required 2 Years)
Bachelor’s Degree or OR 8 years of work experience in Medicaid TPL (Required)
