IT Application Administrator and Analyst (250815)

Complete Description:

Responsible for project oversight, application management, cost analysis, and overall system functionality.  In addition, the resource will be required to support the system, or network (LAN, WAN, etc.) as well as monitor applications for availability and performance, as needed.

Required Skills/Experience:

Technical diagnostics, trouble shooting, setup, & configuration (Required 5 Years)
Respond & troubleshoot end users technical concerns (Required 5 Years)
Diagnose and repair peripheral equipment as necessary (Required 5 Years)
Track and Escalate open technical issues in the agency (Required 5 Years)
Technical assistance in the improving program designs and operations (Required 3 Years)
Application Functionality and Access (Required 3 Years)
Provide determination between network, hardware, and software issues (Required 5 Years)
Desktop Imaging, Deployment, Packaging, Break/Fix Services (Required 5 Years)
Analysis & documentation of preventative maintenance & technical processes (Required 5 Years)
Technical Writing Experience (Standard Operating Procedure Documents) (Required 4 Years)
IT Analyst (Required 4 Years)
Process Improvement (Required 4 Years)
DAR Analysis/Product Comparison (Required 4 Years)
Knowledge of emergency call recording software (Highly Desired 1 Year)
Knowledge of radio frequency engineering (Highly Desired 1 Year)

Question 1: Will candidate be able to travel to alternate locations within the city? There are no reimbursable expenses, and transportation may not be provided.

Candidate will be a self starter with exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal skills, as well as an eye for detail. Candidate must be available to work evenings, weekends,  and holidays as needed.
