Project Manager – Computer Assisted Dispatch/ Records Management System
1 Year Contract with 1000 hours option to extend
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) requires the services of a qualified contractor to provide Project Management Services to manage the Computer Assisted Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management System (RMS) for the Metro Transit Police (MTPD).
The project manager must have past experience identifying requirements for a CAD/RMS system, and implementing CAD, RMS, and CAD/RMS systems within the last five (5) years. The project manager must demonstrate the ability to provide deliverables within the defined delivery schedule.
Required Experience:
1. Four (4) year degree in Computing, Telecommunications, Criminal Justice or Mathematics or other closely related sciences
2. A degree or certificate in Project Management
3. At least 2 years of hands-on CAD/RMS vehicle on board equipment experience
4. At least 5 years of hands-on CAD/RMS acquisition, implementation and management experience
5. At least 5 years experience in implementation of RMS/CAD systems and CAD2CAD
6. At least 5 years experience in implementation with field data reporting
7. Working knowledge of Windows Cluster and SQL Database
8. Excellent written and verbal communication
