Required Skills/Experience:
Able to work with multiple systems in order to ensure functionality (Required 4 Years)
Experience with asset management/help desk support software (Highly desired 1 year)
Experience working with emergency management and public safety software (Highly desired 1 year)
Systems integration support and maintenance (Required 4 Years)
Experience with Mobile Data Computers system maintenance (Highly desired 1 year)
Tier 3 IT Support Experience (Required 6 Years)
Experience with GPS, GIS, AVL, or similar technologies (Required 4 Years)
Consulting with clients to analyze and recommend best IT solutions (Required 10 Years)
Developing custom applications that supply customers with solutions (Required 10 Years)
Installation of MDC and comm equipment in emergency response vehicles (Required 1 Year)
Experience installing LEDCO mounting systems in emergency response vehicles (Required 1 Year)
Troubleshooting electrical and hardware issues and perform corrective maintenance (Required 4 Years)
Design electrical systems bases on hardware needs and client usage profiles (Required 4 Years)
Thorough understanding of a wide range of vehicle wiring/electrical systems (Required 4 Years)
Develop and deploy computer images based on customer specifications (Required 1 Year)
Candidate must have a flexible schedule and be able to primarily work the 3rd shift. 3rd shift involves 10 hours (10PM to 8AM), 4 days a week.
Candidate must be able to provide their own transportation to work between multiple sites.
Complete Description:
The Senior Systems Engineer – MDC position requires a highly technical individual with extensive IT experience. This position will require the resource to work with several different systems in order to ensure the highest functionality to all users. Network administration and systems support are key to this position.
